Wheel Alignment adjustment measurements....
« on: 27 January 2011, 11:14 »
Ok... Just been to get a couple of new treads for the little lady as she has scrubbed a set of Khumo's in the last few months...

It seems to be that after lowering the Suspension the toe and camber is out of kilter and has brought this wear on quicker...

The Guys I use for tyres, have had a 4 wheel laser alignment ramp fitted at a cost of £40K... But the software that is supplied with it, only has factory settings on the system... So they can set it up but only for Ex-factory... They don't seem to be able to adjust it for cars that are lower than factory heights from the software provided.

Is there anyone or anywhere that has an adjustment table for correct settings for lowered cars?

I am running an 8V Digi with Eibach 30-40mm lower springs on G60 OEM struts....

Any help greatly appreciated!!

I have always stayed at factory settings even if lowered.

Never had any issues, the mk3 from memory had a touch more camber but tracking was set parallel and they seemed to wear fine.

i always go to Protyre for any alignment, I think Dh did post up a while ago some camber settings / alignment as well if you wanted to adjust it from factory settings.
