GTI has been in the garage getting some well deserved TLC
New Mintex discs pads & handbrake cable - all were well past their best.
Passenger window mechanism has been replaced.
Jetex system with no centre silencer...can't wait to hear
Full bonnet respray to fix all the stone chips/rust spots, with the wing edges, lower doors and rear panel seeing some paint as well, with a machine polish of the car as well.
My pal is the painter at his father's garage and has done a stunning job of the paintwork and preparation...if not of setting his camera date and time
Hopefully ready for the MOT at the end of February, and then I'll make a start of cleaning up the engine bay, and getting some minor electrical gremlins fixed
