« on: 26 January 2011, 06:48 »
ok i have an anoying problem with my clutch pedal.
when ever i push my clutch right down then bring it back up after about an inch of travel on pedal it sticks then releases with a clonk/click sound from engine bay.

doesnt effect driving just anoying when pulling away trying to get clutch control on a hill.

Yes as they tend to dry out and seize up.

probably the clutch, mine was exactly the same. you want to change the cable when doing the clutch anyway, so do it and it might solve the problem :)
if not, you havent lost anything

I have never changed a clutch before and wouldnt no where to start. The clicking sound is defo coming from engine bay and not in the gearbox so im thinking cable maybe (hopefully)
