Car stolen this morning gutted

Hi folks,

Had some visitors at 2 am this morning. Smashed in the front door and stole my Gti. Have only had it since September and done 2500 miles so really gutted. They reversed it off the drive into my neighbours car so have probably damaged the rear end. Coppers spotted it nearby but lost it in the chase. Can't believe the audacity of these people. Car was a White GTI stolen in the Coventry area.

So sorry to hear this. I really feel for you. Sickening.
GTI is the most stolen hot hatch in the UK, I am told.
This is what I have on my car and I park on street well away from my house.
Insurance Premiums are now higher for cars parked in driveways and attached garages.

Gutted for you mate It makes my blood boil.

Last week my mate had his Focus RS stolen in very similar circumstance. They moved his work truck first then took car off drive!!

Terrible news, absolute scum..

A mate had an ED30 stolen from the house, broke in to get the keys, he never saw it again  

He had GAP insurance so he just got a new one but was always nervous where he left it..

Thanks to this forum took out GAP insurance so hopefully will be covereed if needed. Not really thought too far ahead yet but not sure if I would want to keep the car now. Will see how it plays out. Thanks for all the kind words. Will let you know how I get on
