do i go big bumper or not?

at the bottom of this post should be my signiture which is a picture of my mk2, i just cant decide if i should go big bumper or not. what do u think

If it was mine I would leave it small bumper, but it is your car at the end of the day.

No offense but I think you should make your own mind up.. Its your car isn't it? Not ours so why does it matter? but ill admit I prefer big bumpers to goofy small 1's. I'd say it depends what else your doing tho.. You can't use dished wheels and g60 arches etc with small 1's,but then big can look worse dependent on height/rims/arches etc

personally i preffer Big bumper, as said above all down to you buddy and what you think, i think a big bumper would look good, you can buy them new for a reasonable price or find one in the classifieds budget is another factor really

Dont really look right with big bumpers and small arches though in my opinion.
If you got the arches and the rest of the kit you ll also have a big line where the bigger door strips used to be.

You could get away with big bumpers as it is a G reg car, but would ideally need the arches, sill covers and bump strips to match. Even then the purists would notice your hazard light switch been in the wrong place.

Personally I think they should remain as the factory intended. VW designed the big bumpers to make the car look more modern at the time, but that was 21 years ago.
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

keep it original and small bumper! just tidy up abit with some back to black, new strips if required and it will be shiney new again!
