Well, on the main road today on the way to tesco, I was driving about 70 when the car lost drive, engine still running. I free wheeled over to the side of the road and after a long hike through unknown woods I finally found a phone box as I never had me mobile. Anyhow, to cut a long story short, I got towed back and there was gearbox oil everywhere. The car starts and runs and you can select all the gears, but no drive and a slight clattering noise.
I have a feeling this means a broken diff, but not sure. Any ideas really appreciated, cheers.
