Awesome wheels

I would have paid the seller to keep the Falkens though - worst tyre I've ever had on a car

Wait until they've done about 1500 - 2000 miles and then you'll see just how bad they are  :lipsrsealed:

 LOL, that's about a years mileage to me!!!

Gives you plenty of time to save up for some decent rubber then

Yeah the bloody thing kept following my GTI around, I think it wanted to mate with it.

It actually belongs to the company who's workshop I borrowed, which is a lease company. The car can be hired for a weekend if anyone has a few hundred quid burning a hole in their pocket............

Maybe I'll run the Falkens for a while then ebay them whilst they still have decent tread on them. And then I can buy some proper rubber. No wonder this forum costs me so much money!!!

Ta Steve.
They do them in anthracite, silver or that ball polished finish that Maxitrol has.
If I'd have bought a brand new set I'd have gone for anthracite.....probably.....

Are there any handling issues with increasing size to 19" from 18"?

I'd assume not as the standard wheels on the GTI are 17" but you guys will no doubt know for sure.

Not noticed any issues in the whole 10 miles I've driven on them yet, mostly with another set of wheels rolling around in the back
These would look so so so sick on a lowered mk6

No those alloys are horible caistor_bmx.......... they look like a lid of a saucepan
LOL @ Martin

Those wheels look fine on old skool VWs Caistor but I doubt they'd look right on a mk6. Would love to be proved wrong though.......
