sleepless nights

right i really want to do something to my car. ive been saving for some new 18's but i know im going to have to drop it with some decent coylesfitted but thats going to really cost the best part of a grand really

or should i just get a remap done with a milltech back cat with the money i have saved so far!!

doing my head in dont know what to do. think id get more enjoyment from a remap and exhaust!

what would you lot do?

decide if you want looks or speed first, personally having a lush looking motor is better than a quick one

your in the same situation as me!! :P

everything takes time... but im going for the remap and decat 1st! then alloys in the summer and new anni kit all spreayed up

its a working progress :D just enjoy it :D

Think ill stick to the wheels and try and put more money away and stay out the pub for a few months

I'd say remap and cat back now for this reason..... The roads are still crap and new alloys will soon look pitted so get the remap etc then by the time you've got your alloy funds the roads will be better.

Sounds daft but its just how I see it  :wink:

remap first, tyres are cheaper on smaller wheels  :grin: :evil:

Sort your chassis out first,forget about the wheels and forget about the remap,get some coilies or lowering kit(don't get just springs),312's up front and your ready to move on to either power or wheels.

I made the mistake of running a mapped car on std suspension on my old mk4,handling was like a boat with too much power for the brakes,all wrong imo.

Wise advice to be honest. Also then when you fit the wheels you won't look like a 4x4.

Chassis and brakes 1st then make it quicker.
