what to do?????

I got a mk1 cab for xmas, and its been sat on the drive eversince as i cant afford the insurance yet!!
i dont know what to do to it, its moted till may but it was sat up for a while before i got i.e 6 months,
so it needs a service, new tyres and brakes.
it also has a leaky roof so im thinking of either stripping the interior out and doing dash swaps and interior upgrage or shall i just sort the leak out and drive it? bearing in mind ive gotta chuck money at it either way!!
any ideas??

I vote you drive it! You could end up spending money on it 'upgrading' before you know how she drives as is. Sort the leak sooner rather than later though as you could end up with more problems: damp carpet, rust, eletrical issues.

im liking that idea!!! lol!! yeh gunna sort all the damp out tomorrow, really gotta dry it out cos its like a swimming pool in there!!!!

I've never driven a cab but been in one when I was a teenager. Hand built by Karman too! Is yours a GTI or a Clipper? They are really good value at the moment to buy but I predict they will go hugely up in value soon as people realise most of the 'original' Mk1s are rusted to oblivion!

mines a clipper, the mrs got it 4 a bargain at 1100!! was gunna go out and work on it 2day but its fecking freezing!!! so ile leave it till next weekend!! lol!!! gunna get the roof looked at this week so hopefully itle stop leaking soon!!!
