Bluetooth Install HELP!!

First post! been viewing for a while but need help please!
Recently purchased a `premium bluetooth kit`part number 3C8035 730 A (want to check it works particularly at over £300) Thanks to all the previous posts on here I was able to install the thing but need to code the unit. Plugged it in but i lost my ipod connection and no phone recognition.
I have VAGCOM and the lead but clueless as to the coding etc, if anyone has any experience of this and knows the coding could you please let me know.

You need to enable telephone 77 in the can gateway for starters.

However you shouldn't lost the ipod (I presume you mean MDI kit?), did you move the blue plug from the original part of the loom to the new part that now connects to the headunit?

That will explain it, didnt move the blue plug. Will give that a go and see what happens. Do you know if there is any long coding needed?

Yes you will need to disable the base plate and overhead buttons options (i.e. set to inactive) to stop fault codes being thrown on the telephone controller 77, but this won't stop it working.
