What's this plug for (fusebox q)
« on: 20 January 2011, 15:00 »
I'm taking up the carpet to source a leak, and found this little fella dangling by the fusebox, not connected to anything

Anyone know what its for? It has 2 brown wires and two red and blue wires coming from it

So does this mean it was an extra on my car? Or is it just on all fusebox's as standard??

no that bit of the loom is always there regardless, if you check in the bay you'll spot the unused 3 pin plugs which would have connected to the motors :)
theres a bit of loom between that plug and the range control switch which you wont have either.

that plug is the later shape one, the early plug is one of the old fashioned T shape spade plugs if you know what I mean
