hi all,
new to the site,bought a 96 gti 8v last month and i love it.
Ive spent hours reading the posts,i love to read about what people have done to there cars.a lot of good advice to be had aswell.
I think im going to have to replace my gearbox as i also have the clicking only in reverse,seems to b a bit of a common problem.Anyway would anyone know where i can get hold of another gearbox,im in the southwest.

hey whats up..

where in the south west are you? i'm in taunton..

how bad is the click?  i've heard that if you put the car in 2nd before putting in reverse it stops it..

mine used to do it.. but its stopped doing it lately.. i woudlnt worry! lol
