I remember my 1.6 carbed Mk2, was a great little engine so long it was air leak free I had a weber 32/34 DMTL carb and it ran great once the airleak was fixed (it was the flange between the carb and the inlet manifold that was causing it, common fault).
thats quite cool. is it out of a mk4?
Nice little mk2 mate I prefer mk2s with small bumpers think they look more retro. One of my favorite sets of wheels those ats cups I had a Identical set on my mk3 wagon they looked awsome when they was clean but a nightmare to clean when they have no laquer on but they really suit your car.Can you insure these on classic car insurance out of intrest?
Well if anybody has paid attention to the mk2 section recently, i asked a question on a decent cup holder (this is a must for me,
Yes mate it was me who directed you to that cup holder, i am glad to see it is getting fitted and to be fare looks really good. Well done mate, bet you will have given a bit of insperation for others thinking about putting cup holders in a mk2.Keep up the good work mate.
Very nice, tidy mk2
