Hand brake light
« on: 22 February 2005, 19:59 »
When I accelerate, my handbrake light comes on!!!
Sometimes it flashes othertimes it just stays on!
I thought it was just that my back discs were siezed up but even after I have driven for 10-15 mins it still comes on.
Any ideas would be greatly apprieciated.
 Thanks

sounds like a loose connection somewhere. have a look at the switch under the handbreak cover and see what thats doing?

Try unplugging the wiring plug that goes into the cap on the brake fluid reservoir.

I used to get this and thought it was funny so i left it. Just told people it was my warp speed light!

I think the problem was with a loose sensor wire on the handbrake lever.
