Best wax for reflex silver

This has probably been covered before but can not seem to search for advice.

I have been using various product since I had my 1st silver GTi and when I bought my mk6 after some advice I used for my 1st and 2nd wax before xmas the following

Dodo Juice Supernatural clay and dodojuice born slippy claylube

Dodo Juice Supernatural Panel Pot

Chemical Guy's JetSeal 109

Obviously the Dodo Juice Supernatural Panel Pot only lasted the twice, so need to replace and was wondering what people would recommend. Is there any particular wax that is better for silver cars?

I think the best way to do it is clay-polish-seal then wax, i've still got a supernatural panel pot that i've had 6 coats out of and there is probably a couple left so i'd say take it easy with the supernatural! I love the stuff and will be getting the big pot soon, mines steel grey but it works a treat.

yeah stick with what u got, but Jetseal before u wax and your all good 

P.S panel pot should last quite a while - a little goes a very long way

Did you only get 2 coats of wax out of your panel pot of SN or have I read it wrong? You should easily get 5 or 6 coats out of it, maybe even more.

Put wax on as thin as you possible can, less is more

I put 2 coats on each time with the supernatural and I did use a bit on mates audi's bonnet to show him what is like. So probably could squeeze a bit out of it but wanted to see whether there was something else out there before I bought the normal tub

waxamomo - What do you think of the machine stick? Are there anymore dodo juice more suited to a silver car?

We do sell a few of the machine sticks, but I think people prefer to apply it by hand. No other Dodo wax can beat SN in my opinion, it's a great wax.

If you wanted something a little cheaper I would probably go with Light Fantastic for Silver, you can apply any wax on any colour but I always like to use the correct coloured one if you know what I mean.

If you wanted to go with a sealant, I have had a fair few customers tell me that Wolf's Sealant is very good on Silver:

Sorry off topic but i have a silver car & i want to get rid of some swirl marks... would i clay bar the car 1st or just get on with the swirl removal?

best thing to do, is to scroll up to the header, and use the search button 

but the long and the short of it, clay it first

Yep clay first would be a good idea, otherwise you could fill your polishing pad with unwanted contaminants that could end of swirling or scratching the paint further

1 more thing what colour pad do i use on my Dual Action Polisher for the swirl remover, polish & seal?
