Ok daft question no doubt but would any model mk2 golf subframe mount to any Golf. Golf in question is my mk2 golf 1.3 body.
I'm fitting a 16v gti engine and have been offered a subframe as well as part of the deal. Just wondered if it would mount to my body? Are the mounting holes the same? Obviously I aprietiate some engineering will be expected but just wondered if they all mount from the same point on the car... Im travelling a very long way for the engine and don't want to make the effort and spend the money only to find out it won't even fit!
