Depends on whether the the engine has come from a car with CE1 or CE2 electrics.  If CE2 then it should be plug & play if you have the whole loom including the control box behind the centre console.  Don't forget you will need the WHOLE K-Jet fuel system, metering head, everything!

To me going from digi to k jet is a backward step even with a 16v.

ABF it.

It will be a lot easer and would take less time to get running right.

Pop onto edition38 and send a guy called Shakey a PM. One of his specialities is to ABF 8valves and he could point you in the right direction.

If you can't PM him, bung him and email herehttp://studioincar.com/

the point is ive been offered a 150 odd bhp KR VERY cheap ...

so i want to know how involved it is to swap it over... i dont care if its not the sensible choice i f i can go from whatever power my 8v digi has to 150bhp for less then £100 then its worth doing in my eyes

Is it worth it, to convert back to kjet is not the wisest of moves and you will need a lot of extra parts.

If you are going back to k-jet ask me bits for bits you want, ive just removed the whole lot, as it was sh!t with my 2.0l. Got the meter head airbox, braided fuel lines, pretty sure my WUR did work.

I think you may need the fuel pump and lines?

You'll need the whole intake system obviously, which should come with the engine, and the ECU.

Not too sure what exhaust parts you need, but you should get away with using spacers on your current system from the downpipe back if it is standard. Not sure about the downpipe fitment.

You may want to think about things like new clocks (8k rpm limit), better brakes, 16v anti-roll bar and suspension, etc.
