Steering column help

I have been trying to tighten up my steering column with the 2 little studs in that bloody awkward place under there......
Really struggling to get any tool to it to tighten it up.... What do u guys use......
It is loose and needs tightening up before the Mot..... :cry:

you mean the 2 shear bolts that hold the column housing to the bracket on the bulkhead? there isnt a tool for em they're special bolts where the head shears off ocne they get to required torque. if you cant do em up just get some normal bolts in there for mot, then replace later with new ones from VW.  I've used old caliper -> carrier mounting bolts before, rear ones or front off 256/280mm brakes
