would have thought so, you don't have to even have one of those brake lights to pass MOT i don't think (see saloon cars, and older cars dont neccessarily have them). Only thing they might say is that they are annoying to other motorists so flashing is no good... cant see why they would say that though, brake hard in an evo and the hazards come on automatically! lol  :laugh:

from a certain year you need a 3rd brake light fitted to pass MOT

Not a bad idea as a flashing light always attracts more attention than a static one

most top end cars have this fitted as standard.. VXR's and Nissan R35's under heavy heavy braking the brake lights flash.. so all is above board and legal.. dont mean an MOT tester wont fail it lool

i suppose a really anal tester could fail it, but i doubt anyones that bad.

flashing unit came last week fitted today only took 10 mins works a treat 37 selectible flash patterns  :grin:
will try to upload a vid after i have cleaned the car lol

my mot tester didnt want to mot my old corsa due to the colour of the wheels, lol

i wasnt seeing things then.. i was behind a skyline (r32 i think) at the light and its 3rd brake light flashed too, i thought it looked pretty cool and caught my eye instantly.. which i suppose is what its meant to do...
