help!! mk1 golf exhaust for g60

ive just put my old Mk2 g60 lump in my mk1 golf. its running 240bhp  :shocked: wen in the mk2 golf. Ive now got a supersprint center section,wiv no boxes. ans a supersprint bk box!! Ive welded my lambda probe in the center sec.the problem is it doesn't seem as fast and doesn't have the grunt as in the Mk2.wot do the rest of you Mk1 g60 fans use for Ur exhaust systems???

PLEASE CAN ANY1 HELP!!!!!!!!!!! :undecided:

The lamda sensor needs to be closer to the engine to work, where was it on the G60?.

on the mk2 i think it may have bin at the end of the down pipe. not to sure

Put it where it was on the original setup ,or as close as you can get it.

WUD IT MAKE A DIFFERENCE,IF I USED A S/STEEL SYSTEM? WIV BOXS IN THE CENTER SEC,AS SUM MATES HAVE SAID IM LOSEING BK PRESSURE!! THANKS FOR GETTING BK 2 ME SO FAST.

I don't think the exhaust is your problem. Check all the usual things like timing, fuel pressure and that you are getting full throttle.
