O just wonderd what genuine wheels could i put on my mk2 as mu cuz has just added a 911 wheel to his mk1

Almost anything if you have the correct boss kit.

The leather bound Corrado version of the GTI wheel is quite nice, and theirs nearly always one on ebay, they seem to go for around £30/40

Also love the later Corrado VR6 leather wheel, think it was also used in the G40.

Must admit I'm looking for a leather MK2 wheel at the moment though.

I have this one, its a italvolanti wheel and apparently uber rare. To be honest I have never ever seen a wheel that I would prefer over this one.

Just a heads up on the fitment, visually a 944 and 911 one look the same but they have different splines.  Good ones aren't cheap either.

It was fitted by the dealer as an option when the car was new. I have swapped it for a leather G60 wheel for a more OEM look for the time being while I decide whether to get it re-trimmed or not.
