A good cup holder!

I recommend using MK4/Sharan/Galaxy ones, not too thin and can be used individually, they also have a connector on the back which powers an LED for night time use 

Maybe not as 'easy' an install, but they probably fit in with the MK2 a bit better than the Jap or Ford ones.

Well I've gone ahead and bought one of them universal ones,only needs abit of trimming. Hopefully looks alright! I'll get pics up. If it looks pants then I'm liking jays ideas. Could easy wire it up the old cig lighter wiring seeing as though I don't have one any more... And don't smoke

Brown tape is abit tacky mate... leave that for the mk3's

I was under the impression the MK4 had the same cup holders as a Sharan, I read it some where
On the Shaza the cup symbol has an LED behind it, can't find decent pics of it.

You can see them just next to the Emerhecy switch on the dash above the radio.

thats a fancy double drink holder.. us poor mk4 owners have one which opens for two cups... no LED unfortunately..
