induction kit fitting

has any one fitted a k&n or any induction kit, is it fairly easy for some one not mechanic;y minded? its for a 93 1.4 btw
which ones sound best?

Don't use an induction kit on a 1.4, the airbox is at the back of the engine and will suck in hot air.

really? why do they even make them for 1.4s then?

What u hav to do m8 is get some metal hosing that fits on ur airbox and thens fit into the back of the filter.go to any car performance shops and they should do them, tell the sales person that u need it to redirect ur air filter. he should give a small plastic samco hose,the samco hose fits on the metal hose which fits snugly on the a :smiley:irbox.U can now redirect ur air filter yo a colder place.email me and ill send u a picture of one on my m8s which i sorted it out for him hope this helps cheerz
