JUST CLEANED WITH PICS,EXHAUST QUESTION?

Ididnt know wether to put this in the mk3 or mk4 section as its a bit of a mismatch,its mainly mk3 running gear so ill put it in here
Quick question about exhausts,ive been reading and get the general idea that mk3 exhausts are the same,mine is a 2.0 8 valve,ive just bought a full system,(obviously not the manifold or downpipe)which came off a vr6,so im guessing it should fit as its the whole thing im changing,does anyone know if this is correct? ive already lowered it with suspension off a vr6.

VR6 & 16v exhaust systems are a larger bore tubing than then 8v but you can fit it to yours simply by using a reducer pipe.

thanks for the help,so o guess i just have to measure the 2 bores and get that size reducer,does anyone like kwik fit sell them,or do you know of any websites?

They are 8" x16" rotacups with 9mm spacers on the back

should be in MK4 section that, its a 3.5 but body styling on the latter cabs is aimed at MK4, a for this reason the back box is not gonna fit your rear bumper

if it was a earlier cab with mk3 body styling then it would have fitted

i dont mind modifying the back bumper a bit,my mates got a mk3 cab and the actual shape of the exhaust looks the same,so hopefully ive only got to cut a bit out of the bumper

Tdi style pipes and hidden exhaust would look good.

Im personally not down for home cut bumpers, on this car id have to have hidden tails but thats just my opinion
