does anyone have one fitted and what are the average power gains as a result
what are the best brand to get and where from
its a lot of question i know but i'm sure lots of you have one or two fitted at some point in your lives so i should get some decent feedback

to be honest mate they dont make that much difference power wise. it is better to have one though, better respiration for the engine and so forth. looks good under the bonnet too
for any noticable power gains you gotta be looking at having some head work done, cams etc, but thats when it gets pricey. hope this helped.

i have a K&N induction kit (approx ?80) together with a full power flow exhaustand i got an additional 15bhp (115 to 130bhp) gain - try demon tweeks for kit! I also have an FSE fuel boost valve which has increased my power to 150bhp!

hhmmmm, yes.... what would be the purpose of bullsh!tting!
this forum is meant to help and advise other golf owners amongst other things - so surely it would be pretty pointless to make stuff up!
golfvr6-is-back is your name Andrew of Edward by any chance???

power boost valves are snake oil... they notoriously troublesome and _not_ proven to work very well.
