I have an intermittant fault on my 1993 gti dash, have lost MFA, mileage, speedo and rev counter. I have taken the unit out and whilst checking it over i realised it powered back up when the board was heated over with a hair dryer, sounds like a possible component fault, but before buying a second hand unit and paying for re configuring of the mileage, i thought i'd post, any advice would be helpful.
