have look round the net i came cross this CONE IN A BOX for the Fabia vRS, any now anything about it, noise gains etc or has any one made for 18t
i going make one see how it is

I'd get a panel filter personally, it may have "over double the surface area of a standard panel replacement" but there is a a reduction in the size of the hole it has to go through compared to the surface dimensions of the panel
A cone is OK if mounted directly on the intake as the inlet is the same size but I can't see any gain in putting it in the standard air box
Also the standard golf airbox isn' too deep so watch which particular cone you buy if you do try it

i have pipercross panel, just not seen one before, just throught if anyone has try it
my try one with a cone and a panel,(just make a frame so it sit in)
