Angel eyes and lower fogs.

Hiya guys and girls

I spent most of my day fitting my angel eyes due to issues removing the front bumper. They are all working great tho i do however need to buy HIDS and LEDS but that's a different matter.

I've got a pair of lower fogs they both work. I wired them into the headlight fogs and when i turn the fogs on i get a constant click of the relay. I think i plugged them in correctly where there is a m/f spade connection inside the headlight connected to the fog. What have i done wrong?

Overloading the relay maybe as it's only designed to run one lot of lights. The fog lights switch of when main beam lights are switched on so this could be the reasoning for this....

Angels eyes should only be fitted to BMW's!!

dubcruiser is correct the fog should be wired to a relay the a trigger wire from the headlight harness or head light switch to the relay...

this may be an easyier way to wire up... but you'll need to cut out the switch part, and just send the live  wire from either your light harness or light switch to pin 85 on the relay to trigger it instead... hope this helps

Cheers for your help I really wanna keep the fogs on the same switch as the headlight fogs. So it sounds like I have the fogs put in the wrong place so there taking to much current. Hmm that was the only connection in the light that looked easy enough to interupt. I drove with tonight and noticed how little I could see compared with reflectors... I though projectors where ment to be better?...

you will keep it on the headlight switch if you do it how i said in my previous post... but you will still need a relay... just ignore the swich part in the diagram and wire a trigger wire from the oem headlight switch or headlight harness to pin 85 on the relay (what i mean when i say trigger wire is - a wire which turns live when fog lights are turned on you can take this from the headlight harness or the oem switch inside the car)
