Yeah I seem to remember the Beetle production figure being surpassed a while ago but couldn't remember what or when.

Also forgot about the 'new' Beetle, should that be included on the production run or should it be in the Golf's figures :undecided:

It's info like this that should be easily found on manufacturers websites as surely they know the correct figures and we can decide for ourselves how we read them?

Yet somehow it once managed to claim the title of European Car Of The Year!  must be due to some of those classic special editions they released.  Who can forget the rare versions like these:













Pure class... plenty more where these came from.. at least another 6 or 7!  :grin:
