It would be a stupid idea to come and follow you on Brands today wouldn't it?

I've never been, never looked into it, you need special insurance yeah? I.E you don't go and pay and then they cover you?

Where all my moneys went.

track day was wicked ! the vr supprised a lot of people on track, the seat touring race cars pissed on me, but the vr stood up well  against a lot of £40 grand mini cup race cars who had to work hard to take me, pissed two 172 renault clio's, pissed a mk1 mr2, pissed a 106, pissed a e36 328 and a e36 m3, the only things in my league i struggled with was a 2.5 v6 rover mg and a mk2 golf (1.9 tsi???)

the vr surprised me big time, as we know its not running massive power, but it was well balanced and handled well out breaking a lot of cars, which shocked me as im only running vented discs with ebc greenstuff pads, with fresh dot 5.1, the semi slick tyres also done me proud, the only negative i had was the front end being a bit too heavy and understeering, which i will work on sorting with a bit more weight loss on the front and a proper suspension set up.

all in all it performed brilliantly, surprising a lot of 20-40 grand cars,  and was a talking point for quite a few people at the track, which was nice to over hear as i have put a lot of work time and effort into it ....... engine wise she didnt skip a beat .....

im in two minds whether to do a few more mods and keep tracking her or see what kind of money she attracts with the intentions of selling and starting a new project ????

between me and my brother we managed to f**k up all the video footage, i have two 6 min vids but just as i drove onto the track the cam turned slightly to the left , kindof spoiling the footge, my wife done a sh!t job too trying to be david bailey..... im a bit gutted i didnt get the proper footage as i would have liked, as the day went well and she performed  well. i will upload the vids and pics tommorow as i am shattered now

Glad you had a fun time, I would personally start a new project as engine wise you will splash too, much money to see any gains. Maybe head into bigger NA engines or look into turbo spec'd cars as the additional torque will put a huge smile on your face, I was in a Leon Cupra k1 mapped with a few mods and it was a lot of fun to say the least.

Another huge flaw is fwd cars are fun, but if you want to take track serious, maybe a rwd or 4wd setup, good car would be a s4 as they can be picked up for £2500+. That would give plenty of power and with a strip out be plenty of fun.
