Poor car, already had a couple of plates in the floor... where's the rust come from on the drivers side, was it damp when you ripped the carpet out?

good going on getting the sound proofing up, that stuff can be a b1tch.

Nice window, how did it feel weight wise in comparison to the glass?... one problem though, how are you going to get your maccy D's drive through in it now!?

Those seats look shat and the harnesses look utter shat.

They're base-mount, so won't be proper shell seats and unless there's a hole for the crutch strap you're going to be limited to 4-point harnesses.

A 6-point cage won't have harness bars, so you'll still have a lot of work to get a harness bar welded into the cage.

I'd go for a grey/silver interior - it'll be hto as hell in a matt black interior in the summer and you only have four tiny little holes in the driver's window.

cheers dh ! lol ive got the harnesses with them (4 point) ! some mixed opinions on the colour ! im gonna need to put an extra support bar in anyway if i get the 3 door roll cage ?

what 1992 car hasn't had a bit of welding done to it ? the carpet was dry when i ripped it out, and the rubber grumets were all good so must have been sorted before i got it.
you ant wrong about getting that sound proofing up its like tar, and f**king hard to get up. weight wise i would say the poly was half the weight, or slightly lighter......  and as for the maccy d's im f**ked ! no more drive bys unless its with a gun .....

Plenty of cars, mines a good example of a solid floor, 1983, no welding no rust.

I might be tempted by the poly one day then!

Ah well looks like if you want Maccys for breakfast on the way to the track you're just going to have to get off your ass and go in and get it yourself.
