havent weighed them yet, but to be fair i dont think there is a great weight difference in the windows themselfs ! at a guess i would say the poly (door) windows weigh approx 3-4kg i would imagine the stock window would be slightly more maybe 5-6kg ? ill let you kno exactly on the weekend !

gave up on the other thread, good to see its all calm in here.

steering wheels looks usefull.

as for the poly windows, they are about half the weight of glass. not only that but they look cool (untill they get scratched to buggery)

If you want some cheap weight saving, chip away at all the sound deadening in the car and get underneath it and scrape all the crud off the pan and out of the arches

It'll look seriously good if you can get it to that standard :afro:

It might be worth getting something like this (or similar) to tidy up the wiring inside the cabin:

Thought about a flocked dash? Would look so much tidier and stop any annoying reflections on the screen, could stick all important oil pressure gauge and all that kinda thing where the stereo usually goes that way.

Much better,

love the steering wheel and i think a flocked dash would look the tits behind that wheel!

Glass is quiet heavy so should make a difference!

keep it up

love the flocked dash look, but i think at this stage its an unesseary expence, the money could be better spent on something else ie a (strut brace) joke !!!!!

but on a serious note i do like the flocked dash look and it will deffenitly be a thought in the futre.
