unfortunatly for TC he's on the IOW as if he was much closer i would have finished that barn for him by now,  however fortunatly for him he is on the IOW as i would have nested in that barn by now.

Quite how this would be a bad thing I'm not sure

if you dont mind me asking do they charge you for the space ??

I normally do a day or two marketing work/advertising/etc etc and IT support per month.  The sort of thing we'd charge £3-400 per month for in work.

Was out at the weekend - successfully scavenged steels for the uprights on the front to back wall, but ran out of oxygen cutting them to size and removing brackets from them.

Cut down the hinges for the pedestrian door.

Wired the green container back in and bonded it back down to a stanchion.

Annoyingly, with all this rain, the worst aspect of this barn has come out - there is a section of the rear wall that weeps.  Trying to figure out what to do about this - the ideal is to dig out the earth round the back and put a land-drain in, but there's services under the ground, so some alternative may need to be sorted, as a damp workshop is not a good workshop.

Is this only at ground level?

I think so, yes.

Forgot to ask, what type of wall is it... breezeblock or brick?.... Also what is the floor made from, concrete? What type of ground is on the outside of this wall?

It's hard to make suggestions without seeing it but weeping through at ground level suggests a poor join between the wall and the floor.  If that's the case and depending on the floor type and ground outside, you could try the following:

Mix up some mortar with some Waterproof And Retarder solution - Something like THIS

Build up the area along the bottom of the wall at an angle on both sides by a couple of inches if that makes sense.
.

You've missed a major factor here - there's a depth of soil/spoil behind the back of the wall.

This is what's becoming waterlogged and then it's seeping through the blockwork.  It does appear to be on a specific layer, but that's probably the point above the concrete floor and before there are any further joints.

This is why I said a land-drain might be necessary, but I need to understand where the water and main elastrickery supply to the buildings runs before we dig.

Nah - need to hang the second door and then get the uprights in and then maybe some fresh pictures.  The next real noticeable difference will be when the wall is up and some of the bloody insulation is on the walls, not on the floor!!
