Ok chaps, thanks for the information. I'll have to shop around. I have only had the car for 2 weeks and don't plan on keeping it long, i just wanted to make some money on it as i bought it very cheap.

Is the no way you can change them yourself ? :-\

Are special tools required to retension them or something ?  Its just I was going to have a bash at it myself.

Thanks

Andy

I've just bought a new Mohair roof for my cab.  It cost me ?305 including VAT and delivery.

Going to fit it myself, can't be that hard!!!!!!  (I hope!!) ;D

Just got my new hood in the post!  Came in a big envelope!  (seriously!!!)

The best part is,  it comes complete with fitting instructions for a mk1!!!!!!  How coooool? 8)

If anyone is interested, let me know and I will type them up.  As I imagined, it is dead straight forward, except for cutting our the rear windscreen hole in the mohair!! :o

But after reading through again, it doesn't look tooo hard either!

Let me know if you want the instructions......  Tenner?  ;D
