For camping the best tip is get there early! We always go down on the Thursday to miss the traffic and get an extra night in! Thursday night in Waves is always a blast!
(Waves is the normal camp nightclub)
If you get down on Thursday by say midday you will get a much better and closer camping pitch.
Take as much booze as you can as camp prices are high.
BBQ's are supposedly banned but many are used. But there are plenty of food vans etc onsite including a Cafe for breakfast and a take away.
