rear arch problem

hi i want my rear arches on my mk2 to look follow a smooth line but cant seem to get the metal to pull, ne ideas how to get the metal to pull the same as ive done the fronts.

Are you doing this with an arch roller?

no cant get hold of one and the arches need doing cos of wheels scrupping. already rolled innerlip but needs abit more of a pull somehow.

Have you seen the widow maker home brew jack arch roller?

No I havnt. If we take an arch roller out of it. I've just though if I heat the metal up could I use something to bend it to the shape I want or will it stretch the metal to much out of shape?

I've heard of somats to do with a spacer and a scisser jack or something but never really thought how it would work to be honest.

Arch roller's are sh!t, hammer and dolly in the right hands can do wonders. In the wrong hands it can still work, but don't expect a perfect arch afterwards

Used one of them to do my arches and they are crap, don't bring the arches out enough and you can get a better finish with a hammer and dolly if you know how to use them.
