Sometime ago, someone else posted on a similar problem. If I remember correctly, VW had to replace the seat squab. I think he weighed around 12 stone but was not tall. So not overly heavy IMO.
I weigh 11 stone and am 6'1" and I think there are those occasional times my seat might have squeaked.
15.5 stone 6ft 2" and no squeaking here

Seats squashed and flattened.

Asker mate at 15.5 stone 6ft 2" vs 11 stone and am 6ft 1" you'll be the one getting squashed and flattened if you carry on like that

And im guessing im 20 years younger than him  (and did i mention ex HM forces)

Actually I am 6' 1.25", 32" waist, and have been the same weight since I was 25 years old. However, I am so pleased for this extra dimension of yours.

At present, I have got a squashed/smashed left shoulder as I fell down the stairs on a bus yesterday and am bedridden and in considerable pain.  A bit of sympathy would be gratefully welcome.

Your threat is a bit too late as the deed has already been effectively committed by a London bus driver of uncertain origin.

LOL + CRY IN PAIN.
Laughter is very painful. Your revenge is absolute now.

BTW: Moving it (the seat) up and down, forwards and backwards, could do the trick. It's worth messing around if you can get the result you want.

"The Doc" nearly falls off his chair laughing

I love the ability to hurt through laughter - but you already knew that

A bus? What's one of those?

My dealership replaced the passenger seat squab on mine as it creaked going round corners when someone was sat on it. Didn't matter how big or small they were. It creaked. Dealers agreed so replaced it - no problemo.

Just messed with the seat, changing height, angle etc and took it for a blast (not that a blast was needed) and the noise has now gone.

I expect it to return sometime soon...

Thanks all.
