Nah it's all good fella, "help AND sarcasm since 02" nothing taken personally :grin:

If its any consolation today was spent sorting seized front wiper linkage on the missuss mk4...saved a fair few pounds tho!

Finally got round to getting my rear wiper looked at at VW garage today.  As advised by you guys, a new wiper motor was diagnosed!  Thanks to everyone for their comments.
