Best treatment for this? See pics

Can anyone tell me the best way to treat this?
I dont know exactly what its called but pictures are below.

window rubbers are shot mate, no amount of cleaning and dressings will sort that im afraid.

Ahh okay thanks, is there anything i can use to replace these? Like silicone or summat?

look into how much it would be to get the window rubber replaced(if thats possible i dont know on that one im afraid) or post a thread in cosmetic matters and someone may of had this problem and give advice accordingly.

Iirc the mk4 rear side window is an encapsulated unit, meaning that the rubber is part of a sub assembly that is bonded to the glass, prior to fitment in the factory! so, the way out of this, is to fit a new peice of glass, that has the new rubber already bonded to it, may not cost that much to do, If I was you, I'd phone or talk to a local auto glass fitter, that can put you better in the picture..
