The Techs at VW have come back and said there going to replace the mechantronics, is this a good thing? Or should I push to get the whole box replaced?
I had the mech unit replaced on my last R32 (similar problems) and everything was fine after that ... no more problems and a much smoother DSG. No need for a new DSG box IMO.
So you should be all sorted now ... good luck with the purchase if you go for it
