I changed mine recently and managed to get a whole new regulator panel form thatwillis on here and it was so much easier than fiddling about with the wires. Try PurelyVag as I'm sure he has some.

Good to hear it all worked well thought it would be a bit easier  :smiley:

Mine went at christmas, luckily the window had just come off the runners and mechanism wasnt broke.

This happened to me last year and last week it happened to my mums polo but as last year I took it to Vw to replace i don't no how hard they are to replace Myself can anyone tell if it's worth trying myself or just getting a garage to do it? Cheers

According to a thread on ukmivs the metal clips have been superseded with nylon clips :lipsrsealed:

even if they were plastic clips again the last lot lasted a long time to be honest..
