I'm guessing that the damaged wheel has gone egg shaped to split like that, a trait of linked to low profile tyres, hard suspension settings, and repeatedly driving over speed bumps, and potholes, although that wheel could easily have the crack welded successfully, its likely to crack at the next weakest link, due to severe metal fatigue already set in, next time you may not be as lucky...
If it was me, ultimately, I would scrap the lot, making sure they were put beyond use...
If you go the repair route, have all 4 crack tested, and make sure that the worst wheels go on the rears, where they will do a lot less work....

Well when i use to work doing wheel refurbs and repairs i never welded wheels up just because i was worried it might come back if it gave way again. But then again i have seen really really good repairs and have lasted years and years so really its up to you.

I heard Ronal's are quite weak wheels. Must have hit a pothole or something to cause it!

Ronals are weak, Its a regular occurrence rims cracking on BMWs especially when fitted with run flats

Like I said, I would scrap the wheels if it was mine, simply not worth it...

cool well there is a good place near me that could fix em up but i duno yet see what they say if its not worth it then will allow it and run my rx's for now

when i had an alfa, i hit a pot hole, putting a huge dent in the rim and taking the tyre off the wheel, took it to a place who i dont think heated it, and cracked it whilst trying to put it straight, obviously they welded it, but it was never right and every sunday i would have to put more air in...

Alfa's are massivly common for that to happen, there are loads driving around with bent wheels as the italians being the way they are wanted to save money on building these cars so used weak alloy  :rolleyes:

If you dont mind running th bbs's for a bit then do that as i think they look nice  :grin:
