Cam chain worn?

Hi, When driving along i can hear what does sound a bit like a metal chain rattling and it seems to increase in sound and speed when accellerating! Does this sound like the cam chain may be worn? I was also thinking it could be tappets?

Yes sounds more like the cam chain

How easy is it on say an ABF vs KR?

How easy is it on say an ABF vs KR?

Both are about the same from memory.

both kr & abf = easy.

vr6 is a bit more effort

Ok I've looked at the haynes manual and it does look easy so I'm goin to start it next week. Just a couple questions before i start, Should i renew the rocker cover gasket on refitting? and should i also renew the cam oil seal to? And whilst im at it i might aswell give the tappets a good clean so are there any pointers for this ie.. what to use to clean them up? ect..
