Theres a simlar thread to this on here some where but like I said before on that thread its a very clean look but I think the colour of the car stance and wheels have a big part in the look and if you dont get the mix right it can end up just looking like a CL lowered.I was going to buy some Audi TT comps for my Anniversery but they look far better on mk3s without the arch kit where my car has the full arche kit and im not really prepared to start ripping things off it as I belive it will de value the car and spoil the theme of the anni. But each to there own if you like it do it

i agree with the previous comment mate as im leavin my arches on as i like the standard looks of the mk3 & im puttin TTcomps on mine & de-arched mk3s do look nice but as stated wheels to me make a car so if you get the rong 1's it could ruin the look of your car or make it look better

Sell my Golf? I'd rather shove wasps up my arse!!

Cheers for replies fellas, might just try it anyway and see what it looks like. Got myself cl trims for 3 quid from the scrappy yesterday but just didnt want to go to the trouble if it will look sh!te! If no good will just have to put it on the back burner until I sort some wheels.

I see! Dont mean to be rude, but without boot spoiler and debadged it does look more like a cl, no offence, but think I might leave it, cheers!

Yep, spot on, cheers dom.

CL bumpers, mirrors, boot handle etc, my long term plan was to build a sleeper with a 1.8T or VR6 maybe but lost interest.
