Ecu chip worth getting???
« on: 31 December 2010, 20:05 »
Hi all, I have seen a couple of ecu EPROMs specific for my mk3 8v on eBay for about 50 quid. Has anyone tried them before? Are there any worthwhile gains that I would notice, or can anyone recommend a chip for a similar price that does actually work. Obviously with it being an 8v I know it won't turn it into a rocket ship but is it worth spending on. Cheers!

Nope, ebay chips are a bad move.

Most make the car run in warm up mode and burn lots of fuel.
