New Milltek Exhaust ??
« on: 17 February 2005, 18:19 »
hello all...

not been around for a while so just been catching up on the latest posts...hope all are well?

i;ve had my 1.8GTI T in the VW garage for a full lube service wherethey've told me an exhaust bracket has broken and damaged my exhaust so i'll need a new exhaust !! just the excuse i need to get a milltek system !

i'm gettin the four-motion rear valance and the twin pipes fitted in next couple of weeks, just before i hand over the cash is there any last minute advice/info i need?? i've heard the sound is good without being too boy-racer-loud, i just hope it ain't too loud inside the car?? any advice at this point would be very much appreciated before a blow ?300 odd notes on the new exhaust.

many thanks. ?

i'm going to get my work done at Awesome GTI ..... http://www.awesome-gti.co.uk/......who quote....

'Enjoy the exhilaration that Milltek stainless steel systems give you with a genuine power gain of 8-10%. '

however i think this is a bit generous and the realistic performance gain would be about 5% for cars that aren't tuned up to the eyeballs already...probably very little noticeable difference when driving.
check out .....http://www.millteksport.com......for all the official data.
