I've got a 91 16v and have almost got her running the way i like.  Unfortunately this has left me short on cash for mods.
Can anyone give me a rundown on any cheep mods that will get her looking and running even better?

Thanks

best thing is to scroll through this section and the cosmetics section as there is always people asking these sort of questions.

some starters would be:

Lay flat rear wiper( both mecanism modifaction and changing the arm to a fiat punto arm or some thing like)
uprated head light loom
complete de badge
bee sting arial
colour coded wing mirrors
remove all un need window stickers i.e garage stickers and old alarm stickers (pet hate of mine)
aluminium gear knob
aluminium door lock pulls

hope thats a start for ya

aye up me duck!

we started a post on here about cheap/free mods for your mk 2. if you have a good search you can find most things. in my opinion i'd go for getting your car as clean as possible. spend some time with some t-cut to get the colour back, then lots of polish and get all your black plastic bits black again. all just takes a bit of elbow grease but is well worth it. then once you've got some cash i'd lower it. a standard car low, looks better than any other mod in my opinion!
