I gave my car a quick wash down earlier using Car Plan Triplewax shampoo, however before i'd finished the roof I noticed that there were hundreds of tiny 'bubbles' all over the area that I had washed!
I have tried everything that I have to try and remove them with no joy at all, I tried various cutting compounds, a clay bar, megs polish, even small amount of cellulose thinners, white spirit and T-cut

I tried taking a picture of the area, but my camera isn't good enough to pick them up

If you rub the 'bubbles' with a finger nail they appear lighter and spread around a little but don't disappear - does anyone have any idea what could have caused them, what they are and how I can remove them?
Someone has suggested to me that they are little spots of silicone from the Shampoo, is this likely?
Cheers in advance
