Golf mk7
« on: 29 December 2010, 00:49 »
Ive heard a couple of people mention on here about the mk7. So i had a little looky to see what pictures the tinternet had to offer..

"It is speculate that the new Golf will be having 11 range of engines, from 1.2-liter TSI engine (86 and 105 HP), followed by 1.4-liter TSI engine (122 and 160 HP), 1.6-liter TDI engine (90 and 105 hp), 2.0-liter TDI engine (140, 170 and 220 HP) and ending with the 2.0-liter TSI engine (220 and 300 HP)." Auto express

If it looks like this can we just disown it .... pretend it never happened??? That rear looks horrendous! Call it a kia, citroen or something.

Then there's some other pictures...

The front looks more like polo. Interesting how they are both pictures from auto express in the first place.

Discuss.

Both from Auto Express because the silver one was an artists impression of it by them the previous year.

Red one shows more of it's roots better than the MK5/6 currently do IMO.

the red one looks the best of the two, but i agree the front does look polo-ish or maybe even honda-ish im not sure - it might just be me.
The silver onehowever is just not happening for me, its hideous..

(As above) Golf MK3 & genuine BBS RX 16"wheels, now for sale separately - Just ask for details - Thanks, Les

Red one defo looks better and agree the front end looks like a polo and I think the back end looks a little like a scirocco

Auto Express

Need I say more?

Wait until VW release images, then you'll know what the new Golf looks like.

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.
