One of your own had admitted that the MK3 is quicker than the Mk6.

Now thats got to be a kick in the teeth.

Why does this surprise you?
And why do you feel the need to stir things up with it?

My Mk3 has nothing left standard...a car that's grown to be part of me over 10 years+.
My Mk6 is a fine car...quick and easy to drive.
But on the right road, or on the track, the Mk3 will tear it up.

Considering the cost of modifications to the Mk3 would nearly buy a Mk6 GTI...I don't find the result too surprising.

I also think that the mk3 crew should stop coming on here trying to swap now, its a sign of weakness.

Say money wasn't an object, what do you think would go quicker with enough work? Not changing it so much it's not the same car, if you get me.

Would the electronics on the MK6 be slower then pure driving ability of the completely manual driven (albeit ABS & PAS) MK3?
